Permanent Supportive Housing
The Corporation for Supportive Housing defines permanent supportive housing as a program where residents may have a lease and pay rent. The tenant typically pays no more than 30% of her household income towards rent and utilities and nonprofit organizations or governmental agencies provide the supportive services (case management and counseling) needed to assist tenants to achieve and sustain housing stability.
