Does your office host a jeans day to support local charities?
For a $5 donation to DASH, employees can wear jeans or go casual for a day! Here is a helpful marketing guide on how to set up and run your campaign and contact us to get started.
DASH participates with the United Way (#9391), the Combined Federal Campaign (#99008), and the DC One Fund (#9391). We also participate in the Community Connections Campaign at The World Bank. If you’re having a workplace giving event featuring local nonprofits, don’t forget to invite us!
Employer Matching Gifts – does your employer match gifts or make a donation in honor of volunteer hours? Check with your employer if they have a matching gift program and double your support for survivors! To connect with DASH, contact Meghan McDonough at firstname.lastname@example.org or 202-462-3274 x101.
Leave a legacy by remembering DASH in your estate plans. You can designate DASH as a beneficiary of all or a portion of your estate – a way to make an impact to ensure access to safe housing for survivors and their children for years to come. It can be as simple as including a charitable bequest in your will or living trust or making a beneficiary designation.
